Stream-wise Variation
Lab and resource fees vary by stream. Science stream carries the highest lab charges. Commerce and Humanities stream fees are approximately ₹6,000–₹8,000 lower per year due to different lab/project components.

One-Time Fees at Admission
The following charges are applicable once at the time of new admission and are non-refundable. They cover registration, development infrastructure, and administrative processing.

The ₹2,000 security deposit is fully refundable at the time of school leaving, subject to no outstanding dues.
How to Pay
Payment Process
We have made the fee payment process simple, transparent, and fully digital. Quarterly payment is recommended; however, annual payment with a small concession is also available.

Receive Fee Intimation
Fee notices are sent via SMS and WhatsApp at the start of each quarter — April, July, October, and January.

Choose Payment Method
Pay online via UPI, NEFT/IMPS, or debit/credit card through our school payment portal. Cash payment also accepted at the school office.

Pay Within Due Date
Fees must be paid within the 10th of the first month of each quarter. A late fee of ₹100/month applies after the due date.

Receive Digital Receipt
An official receipt is sent to your registered email and mobile number immediately upon successful payment.

Annual Payment Concession
Parents paying the full annual fee in April receive a 3% concession on the total tuition fee for the year.

Merit Scholarship
Up to 25%
For students securing 90% or above in the previous year's annual examination or board results. Applicable on tuition fee for the following academic year.
Sibling Concession
10% – 15%
Families with two or more children enrolled at Vidya Niketan simultaneously receive a tuition fee concession on the second child onwards.
Need-Based Support
Case-by-Case
Families facing genuine financial hardship may apply for need-based fee support. Applications are reviewed by the school's scholarship committee annually.
Staff & Alumni Ward
20%
Children of Vidya Niketan teaching and non-teaching staff, and children of school alumni, receive a fixed 20% concession on tuition fees.
How to Apply for a Scholarship
Scholarship applications must be submitted to the school office by 31st May each year along with supporting documents. The committee meets in June and communicates decisions by 15th June.

Fee-related FAQs
Are the fees shown inclusive of all charges?
The annual fee totals shown include tuition, lab, library, sports, smart class, examination, and events fees. One-time admission charges and optional transport fees are separate. There are no hidden charges beyond what is listed on this page.
Can fees be paid in installments?
Yes. Fees are payable quarterly — in April, July, October, and January. Parents who face genuine difficulty may speak with the accounts office to discuss payment arrangements. Annual payment is also accepted with a 3% tuition concession.
What is the late fee penalty?
A late fee of ₹100 per month is charged if fees are not paid by the 10th of the first month of each quarter. Persistent non-payment may affect the student's access to examination hall tickets and school services.
Is the security deposit refundable?
Yes. The ₹2,000 security deposit is fully refundable when the student leaves the school, provided all dues are cleared and the school's leaving certificate process is completed as per rules.
Are fees different for Science vs Commerce vs Humanities in ISC?
Yes, slightly. Science stream students pay higher lab fees due to weekly practical sessions in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology labs. Commerce and Humanities students pay lower lab-related charges. The difference is approximately ₹6,000–₹8,000 per year.
Is transport fee included in the annual total?
No. Transport is an optional service charged separately at ₹900–₹1,400/month depending on the route. Parents who opt for private transport do not pay this charge.
When are fees revised and by how much?
Fees are reviewed annually. Historically, revisions have been between 5–8% per year, primarily on tuition fees. Parents are notified of revisions for the new session by March each year, well before the April payment cycle.
How do I get a fee receipt for tax purposes?
Digital receipts are automatically sent to your registered email after every payment. Annual fee certificates (for Section 80C or employer reimbursements) can be requested from the school accounts office in April each year.
