Secretary's Message
A Word from the Secretary of Vidya Niketan.
As Secretary of Vidya Niketan, I am privileged to work at the intersection of vision and action — translating our founders' ideals into the daily practices that shape the lives of our students. Every decision we make in administration, every policy we put in place, every resource we allocate is guided by a singular question: How does this serve our students' growth and wellbeing?
In my role, I oversee the operational heart of this institution — from admissions and finances to facilities, curriculum implementation, and staff management. It is demanding work, but deeply rewarding, because I see firsthand how these systems enable the transformative teaching and learning that happens in our classrooms every day.
Vidya Niketan operates under the stewardship of the Awadh Narayan Welfare Trust, a not-for-profit organisation with an unwavering commitment to public good. This structure ensures that all our surpluses are reinvested into the school — into better infrastructure, better teaching, better student support. We are accountable not to shareholders, but to the families who entrust us with their children's futures.
To our students: you will find in this school a place where your talents are recognised, your struggles are supported, and your character is nurtured. The systems we build here — the routines, the expectations, the care — are all designed to bring out the very best in you.
To our parents: we welcome your partnership in this journey. Your feedback, your involvement, and your trust make us better every single day.
To my colleagues in the school community: it is an honour to work alongside educators and support staff who are genuinely committed to this mission. Together, we are building something enduring.
With deep gratitude and warm regards,
"The best schools are not just places of learning — they are communities of care where every child is seen, valued, and empowered to become their best self. That is what we strive to build here at Vidya Niketan."
