Grade Structure

Two Years of ISC Preparation

Classes XI and XII together form the ISC programme — each year building depth, examination skill, and career readiness.

Class Eleven — Stream Foundation Minimum age: 16 years 6 months

Class XI is the transition from ICSE to the ISC world. Students settle into their chosen stream, adapt to the higher academic rigour, and build a solid conceptual foundation. Thorough unit tests and half-yearly assessments track progress and allow early course corrections.

Class Twelve — ISC Board Year Minimum age: 17 years 6 months

Class XII is the ISC Board year — intensive, focused, and decisive. Pre-board examinations, mock practicals, systematic revision, and competitive exam preparation run simultaneously. Internal assessment (20%) from project work contributes to the final ISC score.

Assessment Calendar

Internal Assessment & Exam Cycle

A rigorous internal assessment cycle across the two years ensures consistent preparation and keeps students in peak academic condition for the ISC Board.

Unit Test 1

July – August. First portion assessed. Stream adjustment and early mentoring for new Class XI students.

Half-Yearly

September – October. Full board-style paper. Progress report sent to parents. Practical sessions begin.

Unit Test 2

November – December. Second half coverage. Class XII internal project submissions and practical assessments.

Pre-Board & Finals

January – February. Full ISC mock exams for Class XII. Annual exam for Class XI. ISC Board in February–March.
